"Nothing you say surprises me. Since the last elections here, the Republicans that won on the basis of the economy and jobs, have done nothing to resolve these two problems. All their efforts have been mainly to abolishing unions, criminalizing abortion and reversing legislation allowing same sex marriages. Their agenda is "cultural" and ideological. Now they want to privatize everything and I mean this literally. Health care, education, retirement pensions, etc, etc. In addition, they want to abolish all the legislation protecting the environment. I guess the pendulum is swinging in the wrong direction...I just hope it will swing back before my kid's life is made totally miserable."
